Got some help finding a few of the hunts from the past (I will update my needs soon)! Trying to work on the Dragstrip Demons set as well as the 50 States Cars (found a few more the other day at walmart). Still looking for the RatBomb and Shelby Cobra mystery cars, they seem to have skipped my part of the world. Still waiting on my kmart mail in panel truck! It's been a while since I received confirmation about it. Any recent finds or news please post here...

Piston Cup Racer Super Cars Fanatic Posts: 844 05/13/09 07:02:39	So about 10pm last night, I go into my local Wally world who never gets new Cars stuff, and I see a couple pallets of toys out. I then spotted about 5 cases of Hot Wheels! There was an older lady stocking the toys, and I politely asked her if she minded if I opened a case of the Hot Wheels. She then said, "Yes, I do mind, I could get in trouble if my manager sees customers opening boxes". So, I started to think I was going to have to ask for that manger... but then she finished by saying "But I will open one for you, and you can take what you want as I put them on the hooks." Sweet! So she starts hanging the cars, and I see green... grabbed a $uper '53 custom Chevy! Then a regular right after that... woohoo! But, even fresh out of the case, the $uper card had a crease in it, on the upper left side... bummer. I thought it would end there, as the rest of the cases were buried on the skid, and the pegs were full. But she said come over, I'll open more cases and give them to you to dump in the bin! She unburied the cases just so I could go through them! Score! I ended up with 5 regs and the one $super! My best TH haul by far, and a rare nice employee encounter at this Wally World! That was fun, and now I have some very good trade fodder! Anyone have a 2008 Mustang $uper for trade? That body style Mustang is all I really collect, and I have the reg of that one. (EDIT) Forgot to add I also collect the Connect cars, and I need Georgia, Connecticut, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin, if anyone can help!

Posts: 4520 06/21/09 11:59:38 SUPER CARS FANATIC Admin	fathers day Hot Wheels hit the shelves last week! WalMart got new side kicks, some have the Merc Supers in them! (haven't seen any myself) Series 5 Classis have some new chase cars in them New Dragstrip Demons have been spotted as well. Lots of new hot wheels hitting the shelves also.
