I understand it won't be available till Monday 7/28. I thought it was strange you have to be 18 for the JLU exclusive but the Lightning Storm McQueen doesn't say anything like that. The earth is bipolar... think about it

Finalist Cars Fanatic Posts: 24 07/24/08 15:13:03	These are harder to get than I thought. My uncle was in line for over an hour yesterday and over an hour today with no luck. Sold out both times. He said they are probably limiting how many are sold each day. Hopefully others here had better luck. I am totally bummed.

Finalist Super Cars Fanatic Posts: 26 07/24/08 15:44:39	I was in line at 9:30a this morning. Then Mattel closed the line and left about 200 of us out in the cold. I checked back every hour and noticed that people were barely moving. Then at about 1:00p they started a 3rd line and I made it to within 10 people of the cash register when they ran out of mcqueens. Incidenly when I was almost to the cash register I asked a guy in line next to me how long he had been in line. He answered 4 hours! My observations: 1) Mattel was not prepared to sell product. They only had two cashiers and the line control was totally out of control 2) They let people buy multiple cases of mcqueens early on. I saw some guys leaving with carts of 10 cases. 3) They had at least 10 people standing around in the booth that were just talking to other Mattel employees. These people could have been put to better use in monitoring the lines and keeping customers happy. 4) at 10:30a when they shut down the first line they simultaneously started a second line. However, they did not tell anybody in the first line about this new line so we were all left out in the cold. Hope somebody had a good experience, because mine was horrible.
