I have a new hypothesis on which version of Dale Jr. is the correct version. First of all, based on the Cars Finder Gallery, it appears
that the Axxelo Fission body style is the same as the Lux Motor Co. body, who knows whether or not this is accidental or intentional. But anyway, on with my
point
Everyone knows from watching the movie that in Cars world their bodies are not rigid, they can change shape slightly to show expressions, body language, and
perform manuevers. I am thinking that the retail release Dale Jr. with the tall body is the Axxelo Fission, and Lux Motor Corps body style, but a relaxed,
non-racing pose. The SOTS body style is the result of being in a racing, more athletic pose, more spread out and lower to the ground. By this rationale, they
could re-release all of the racers with those body styles using the retail version, tall, relaxed Dale Jr. mold. I would like to see that. That would be
pretty cool and actually might be a good idea for some customizers to tackle. Some one PM me when do!
