Hope this is on the DVD !

I don't see why they wouldn't put it on the release. I remember for the DVD of Toy Story 2, they played a clip showing the 'anthem of the world' Randy Newman wrote for other countries that wouldn't understand the playing of the National Anthem behind Buzz when he makes his speech.

I hope they include the 4 other cars (Australian, Russian, Spanish, and Mexican) with the DVD, like the Cars 1 4 pack at Best Buy. After all, all but 1 are Max repaints, the 3rd one listed is Miguel's body. And have those clips in bonus features.

Anyone notice the slight gape in the teeth of Lewis Hamilton in this video? I just checked some pictures of him and that is a great little detail in the movie. Wonder if the car will have that?

Cool. Maybe there's still 1 more. I don't think Lewis diecast has that, though. I hope those cameo racers get released in diecast form.

Agreed, hope they do too.

How many will there be ?

Interesting to note that only 2 are the Jeff vehicle and the rest are Max Schnell vehicles.

This would be a cool international pack /exclusive for a store or something

There might be 1 more , but lemme guess , the Spanish one will have Miguel Camino . If there is one more , it might be another racers country ( Brazil , India etc ) and the countries cars will likely be shown !

American- Jeff Gorvette
Australia- Frosty
Germany- Sebastian Schnell (Max Schnell voiced by Sebastian Vettel)
Swiss- Flash
Russia- Vitaly Petrov
Spain - Fernando Alonso
Mexico- Memo Rojas, Jr.

Columbia could be Juan Montoya

Brazil could be Helio Castroneves or Tony Kannan

I believe that Miguel would be in every countries version.

There are versions for Australia/New Zeland, Sweden, Spain, Latin America, Russia and ROW (rest of world).

Germany is different - it just has the Max Schnell character renamed and voiced by a local racer, like how Chicks Hicks was used in the original in many markets, like France.

On thing retained my attention:
"Rojas said that Disney/Pixar is modifying that car for its five largest markets - Japan, Mexico, France, Spain and Germany."
I'm wondering if it's true, and these two will also be there...

If Japan and France are a part of it then there wont be 5 ( AS WE HAVE PICS OF 5 and Videos of 4 ) there will be 7 ( PLUS the AMERICAN AND GERMAN ONES )

No, that's stupid. I don't want more duplicates. Here's what they do. Make a set of ONLY the racers from the cameos (And no, this doesn't include cars that are just renamed with different voices, like Max Schnell and Jeff Gorvette.) I still think Brazil might also get a new car that will make a cameo.

For me, it's not stupid. I would want a high quality set in a nice display case like the SotS set. It may indeed be the only way to get the cameo racers...I can't see Mattel releasing them on their own just to please a few collectors, not without someone of import.
